The Fowler Trail is accessible from the Rattlesnake Gulch Trailhead in Eldorado Canyon State Park and Eldorado Mountain Trailhead just east of the park entrance. The trail is a wide, easy track with spectacular views of Eldorado Canyon, the Boulder Front Range and eastern plains. The Fowler Trail – self guided nature walk traces a short section of South Boulder Creek east through the canyon with good views of towering canyon walls above. Free interpretive brochures at the Visitor Center explain the canyon’s complex geology, rich biology and long human history. The Fowler Trail is ideal for curious minds and families of any age and skill level.
